What Is the Battle Deck Archive?
Card Kingdom's Battle Decks evolve quietly over time — card lists change, versions sell out, and what was inside rarely gets documented. Once a version is gone, it's gone.
The Battle Deck Archive exists to preserve this lost information. The site collects decklists from real-world copies, tracks how decks evolved over time, and uses data to explore how they're built and how they play.
Someone had to keep track. It turned out to be us.
Meet the Archivist
Bob — the Archivist — has been around for a while, long enough to remember a time before Battle Decks, and to recognize what they brought back: the thrill of intense kitchen-table games.
His job: research, collect, catalog, preserve, and analyze. Keeping track of hundreds of decks, thousands of card choices, and the small evolutions that happened quietly over the years — a card swapped here, a curve smoothed there.
Every deck deserves to be remembered — and understood.
Our Mission
The Battle Deck Archive is a fan-made, non-commercial project built out of curiosity, affection, and far too many spreadsheets.
